【原文】

子以四教：文（1），行（2），忠，信。

【英文】

The Master instructs under four heads: culture, moral conduct, doing one’s best and being trustworthy in what one says.

【注釋】

（1）文，古之遺文，指《詩》，《書》，《禮》，《樂》等典籍。

（2）行，德行。

【翻譯】

孔子以四項教人：《詩》，《書》，《禮》，《樂》、修志品行，存心忠厚，與人信實。

【主旨】人在其生命中對所屬及所欲之道，人面對物質及心靈方面所屬於自己者。
